Tokyo, Japan - April 7, 2004
"A7" size compact network processor board of Intel® IXP425 network processor released from Novatec and Meidensha.
 Novatec Corporation (Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Ichiro Saji) and Meidensha Corporation (Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Keiji Kataoka) announces the release of "NTNP425C", an original network board of Intel® IXP425 network processor, and will be available for purchase from April 7.
 
 This newly released "NTNP425C" developed by Novatec, is the successor board of NTNP425B, a reference board of IXP425, which nearly 200 boards had been purchased by major domestic telecommunication device manufacturers for developmental purposes. NTNP425C has been designed and assembled in the quality level where manufacturers who are considering the production of broadband network equipments can use this board in their actual product. 
 
Main Features: 
- "A7" (75x105mm, approx. 3x4 in.) compact size.
- Intel® IXP425 Network Processor on "NTNP425C" makes possible high-speed processing while maintaining wire speed.
- I/O connectors help expand functions.
- There are 2 ports of 10/100Mbps LAN interface, 2 ports of USB2.0 host interface, 2 channels of serial interface, Mini PCI Type III connector on NTNP425C.
- Application is not limited to broadband network equipments, but can be utilized in digital consumer home servers and miniature wireless access points.
